Portuguese Medical Association

The Medical Association has been using the X2VOTE platform since 2021 for various elections:

The transition from in-person and postal voting to hybrid voting (paper, postal, and online) initially exceeded the Medical Association's expectations, and elections have been exclusively online since 2023.

The elections for President, National and Regional Bodies involves over 55,000 voters and approximately 80 ballots, segmented by region, sub-region, and specialty college.

Portuguese Engineers Association

The Portuguese Engineers' Association used the X2VOTE platform for the first time to elect the President of the Association, National, Regional, and Local Bodies in 2022.

Five separate elections (with separate opening and closing dates and different voters) were held simultaneously for each region.

The elections were conducted using a hybrid format—electronic, in-person, and postal voting—for a total of approximately 50,000 voters. Approximately 70 ballots were created.

Águas do Tejo Atlântico - Utility Company

Águas do Tejo Atlântico, part of the Águas de Portugal Group, made the X2VOTE platform available to its employees so they could elect representatives for the Occupational Health and Safety department. Voting was conducted exclusively electronically for the first time.

It was the election with the highest voter turnout, the lowest cost, and avoided unnecessary travels and contacts.

The experiment proved successful, and Águas do Tejo Atlântico has resumed using the platform.

APIFARMA - Portuguese Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry

The Association has been using the X2VOTE platform since 2021 to allow its members to exercise their right to vote by casting ballots for various governing bodies.

The platform is used in conjunction with in-person voting.

TAP Air Portugal - Aviation Company

The TAP Group selected the X2VOTE platform to allow employees to exercise their right to vote simply and securely online.

Voting for the candidates for Employee Representative on the TAP Group Board of Directors was conducted exclusively electronically, with the platform being made available to thousands of Group employees worldwide.

X2VOTE was also the platform selected for voting at the TAP Group General Shareholders' Meeting.

FESAP - Federation of Portuguese Public Administration Unions

FESAP used an X2VOTE to elect its governing bodies. FESAP brings together more than 30 unions representing various areas of public administration in mainland Portugal and the islands.

The election, the first to be held electronically, had a high turnout, with representatives from across the country voting remotely and without having to travel, simplifying voting and saving resources.
